Directed by Kenji Kamiyama, the production transports viewers to events that precede the famous trilogy, offering an in-depth look at the history of Rohan and its legendary warriors.

A new adventure in Middle-earth

The animation stands out for exploring lesser-known narratives of the vast world created by Tolkien, focusing on characters and events briefly mentioned in the appendices of his books. With a combination of modern animation techniques and an engaging narrative, The War of the Rohirrim promises to captivate both longtime admirers and new viewers, offering a unique visual and emotional experience.

The beginning of the Lord of Kings Saga

Set 183 years before the events of the original trilogy, the story centers on Helm Hammerhand, the legendary King of Rohan. Known for his bravery and unmatched strength, Helm faces challenges that threaten the stability of his kingdom. The plot unfolds when Wulf, a cunning and ruthless Dunlending lord, seeks revenge for his father’s death, launching a surprise attack against Rohan.
